Description
Fates conspire and Vararuchi, a brahmin scholar, marries Panchami, a paraya girl. They travel towards the South and reach Kerala. Panchami gives birth to twelve children. The children are abandoned by the parents as soon as they are born, to be picked up by strangers and brought up by them.
