Prof.K.K.Neelakantan the most famous ornithologist of Kerala has devoted his life to environmental activities especially to the sphere of ornithology. He is better known by his pseudonym Induchoodan. He wrote a considerable amount of books and articles with a sustainable approach. He was always engaged in Birds watching. His prime title ‘The Birds of Kerala’ is a classical work in this area. This Magnum opus has influenced not only the generations of general readers but also the creative writers of Malayalam.
